Led, trained and mentored platoon of 28 Soldiers responsible for all aspects of combat readiness to ensure the platoon’s ability to support contingency operations, tactically deploy, and provide air and missile defense coverage to Okinawa, Japan. Maintained accountability and oversaw upkeep of seven tactical vehicles and equipment valued in excess of $1.5 million. Certified as Tactical Control Officer, qualified to operate the Patriot Missile System and perform Reconnaissance, Selection, and Occupation of Position duties. Hand selected to bypass role of Battery Executive Officer and work as Battalion Adjutant.

Managed college and financial aid applications for over 400 students, resulting in increased college participation and job opportunities.

* Created orientation programs for new students and collaborated with public safety to prevent sexual assaults and alcohol poisoning for campus of 5,000 students. * Managed and negotiated student insurance contract. * Wrote standardized sanctions, decreasing alcohol-related incidents. Investigated, adjudged, and/or held hearing for all campus incidents that violated the campus code of conduct.

* Hosted bi-annual career fairs for area employers, increasing corporate participation. * Updated Career Center with online services to allow students to post resumes to employers. * Counseled students and community members in choosing majors and professions.

Leads, planning, training, and certification for five remotely located detached batteries of Soldiers supporting early warning for Ground Based Missile Systems, located in four counties with 112 hand-picked Soldiers on annual rotations. Certified as Ground Missile Defense System Current Operations Officer, responsible for tactical monitoring and communicating with nine radars supporting intercontinental missile intercepts across the globe. Created certification standard operating procedures for five unique THAAD detachments which formalized training and prepared Soldiers to replace contracted staff. Managed logistics for Soldiers to train and deploy abroad to new duty stations being initially stood up.

Supervised a team of four paralegals in preparing, investigating, and conducting high profile Courts-Martials and the Uniform Code of Military Justice actions for nine units with over 900 Soldiers. Initiated and supervised the selection of Courts-Martial panel members (jury pool) and served as representative between nine units across the island and the Court. Served as liaison between legal offices in two different countries, law enforcement agencies, and Commands, coordinating and assisting in interviewing witnesses and compiling evidence which led to three successful prosecutions. Took over complex post-trial processing system, working under the Clerk of Court to publish court decisions for records and appellate review. Hosted Okinawa Bench and Bar Association Annual Social for four branches of service.

* Managed Safety Program, Public Affairs Program, and served as Liaison to Japanese Forces for a Battalion of over 600 Soldiers. * Directed safety compliance and created educational programs that resulted in zero fatalities or loss of limb over a period of nine months. * Built relationships with Japanese Self Defense Force that resulted in increased collaboration for exercises to fortify the defense of Japan. * Hosted distinguished visitors, created itineraries and served as protocol interface for One to Three-Star Generals and Colonels. * Produced and ensured publication of Battalion news events across multiple media. * Co-chaired Saint Barbara’s Day Ball, managing budget and logistics for 400 persons in attendance.
