Led wing flight safety program for operations involving 56 C-17A aircraft and 1,100+ active/reserve aircrew members. Coordinated with Air Force & MAJCOM agencies to identify, investigate, resolve & prevent flight hazards worldwide. Advised 437 AW/CC & 628 ABW/CC on flight safety issues, developed wing safety policies & investigates C-17 aircraft mishaps. Finally, trained base personnel involved in mishap investigations.

Attended a multidisciplinary PhD program at the Pardee RAND Graduate School, emphasizing research methods drawn from mathematics, economics and the social sciences, to examine a vast array of policy issues including health, education, energy, environmental issues, public safety, labor, population and workforce demographics, as well as national and international security. I completed the programs academics, consisting of courses in policy analysis, empirical and social science methods, micro and macroeconomics, operations research, and both qualitative and quantitative methods. Along with successfully defending my dissertation on USAF pilot retention, I co-authored multiple RAND reports for the US Air Force and the US Army dealing with logistics, training, manpower and retention, and A2AD concepts.

Instructs & commands technologically advanced $202.3M C-17A while coordinating the planning and support for operations on worldwide missions; transporting 170,000lb payloads of cargo, equipment, and personnel in support of POTUS, DoD, AIREVAC & humanitarian ops.

Designs, directs and delivers 160 lessons a years of upper-level math course for future engineers and analysts, while motivating, educating, and evaluating the future potential of 135 future Air Force leaders. . Furthermore, instructs the fundamentals of airmanship and airpower employment in the powered flight program which promotes operational mindset in 40 cadets.
