About

Pioneering Whole-Body Medical Digital Twins | PhD Student in computer science, University of Florida AI Institute. Chris, is building the future of precision medicine through comprehensive digital twin technology. He is essentially trying to architect multi-scale AI systems that model human health as a dynamic feedback system across biological, psychological, and social domains. While most research in medical digital twins focuses on isolated components or a single organ, a gene network, or cellular dynamics....Chris' work at the University of Florida takes a fundamentally different approach: whole-body, multi-scale digital representations that integrate everything from molecular and cellular dynamics up through organs, organ systems, emotions, and social-environmental factors. At the UF AI Institute under Dr. Tamer Kahveci, Chris is developing multi-scale digital twin architectures that: 1.Couple gene regulatory networks with cellular dynamics using hybrid logic-ODE/SDE models. 2. Scale from single-cell transcriptomics (scRNA-seq, Bulk-RNA) to WGS genomics to tissue and organ-level behavior. 3. Integrate real-time data streams from diverse sources into continuously updating patient models. 4. Leverage GPU-accelerated computing (HiPerGator supercomputer) and neural ODE/SDE frameworks for tractable whole-body simulation. 5. Apply Bayesian calibration and uncertainty quantification to ensure clinically trustworthy predictions Chris is also a disabled veteran of the US military.

As Chief Technology Officer at Apex Health for Life, I lead the architecture, engineering, and product development of a Human Digital Twin platform that delivers personalized, adaptive health interventions through a mobile application with wearable integration. Our platform is built on the premise that physical health, genomic, transcriptomic health, emotional wellbeing, and behavioral patterns are deeply interconnected, and that a truly intelligent health system must model those connections in real time, not treat them as isolated data streams. I own the end-to-end technical vision from research through deployment, translating peer-reviewed concepts in multimodal sensing, graph-based modeling, and reinforcement learning into a production-grade consumer health product. My focus is on building systems that don't just score or track....they reason, adapt, and learn from each user interaction to deliver increasingly personalized guidance over time.
