Managing the IT Infrastructure of Pinal County, and leading the following teams: Network/Server team, Audio Visual team, Telecommunications team and the Public Safety/Radio Shop team. There is a large focus on security, data integrity and availability. Dealing with large scale, county wide projects in a hybrid IT environment while pushing toward next gen technologies makes for interesting, yet rewarding challenges.

Focus on Active Directory and Virtual Environments (VMWare). Monitor, maintain, update and resolve issues with HP Nimble - HF and AF Arrays, Cisco UCS over 20 blades, EMC Isilon, EMC 2500/6800 DataDomain/Avamar, DellEMC VxRail VDI 3 host cluster in two main data centers. Updated and maintained VMware versions from 5.5-6.7. Maintain and organize the Active Directory and Group Policy objects and structure. Completed a second Exchange to Gmail migration for over 2000 users, creating ADFS servers and configuring GCDS for automated syncing.
