Operated and maintained machine shop equipment including lathes, milling machines, bench grinders , hydraulic press and radial drilling machines ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime. Executed precision machining tasks according to blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to meet strict quality standards. Conducted routine inspections, troubleshooting as well as component change on Process Plant machinery, including significant contributions to Gyratory crushers, Conveyor belt systems, Larox filter press, Ball mill/Sag mill braking and lubrication systems, Krebs cyclone feed and tailings booster pumps, Ball mill trunnion extension, Sag mill trommel screen, Warman pumps, cyclone clusters and distributors, floatation laugher cell mechanisms, gearboxes, compressors and blowers contributing to increased equipment lifespan and efficiency. Assembled Krebs cyclone feed and tailings booster pumps, Cyclone clusters, Sag mill trommel screen, Warman pumps, sump pumps, verderflex peristaltic pumps, pump barrel assemblies, Laugher floatation cell mechanisms, agitators and Conveyor pulleys. Implemented safety protocols and maintained a clean and organized work environment, adhering to industry standards and regulations. Contributed to the development of quality control documentation, SWP and SOP's optimizing resource utilization and meeting tight deadlines. Collaborated with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues. Managed parts and spares, and kept inventory of critical spares.

Maintained Crushing and Process Plant Conveyors. Replaced worn out conveyor idlers, tracking rollers, scrapers, skirtings, impact beds and pulleys. Successfully joined and repaired conveyor belts by step, finger and steel code splicing. Replaced pulley laggings, repaired spool pipes, suction inserts as well as cyclones by ceramic tiling, Rubber lined pipes, tanks, boil boxes, draft tubes and launders. Maintained cyclones, mill hopper, floatation cells, concentrate storage tanks, mill feed chutes and thickeners.

Was appointed under Zambian Mining Regulation 1455 to carry out maintenance on Baluba B2 service, B1 service and B1 rock winders, utilizing the underground mining bell signal communication system, as well as performing periodical functional tests. Replaced underground shaft guide rails, inspected and maintained ventilation fans. Conducted rebuild of the head gear sheave wheel, ventilation fan duct doors, ID fans, thrust brakes, skips, man cage and rope attachment. Replaced skip shoes, skip liners, skip rollers, skip bull wheels and winder rope. Corrected rope stretch and rope crossover on the winder drum (spooling). Upgraded B2 Service and B1 Rock Winders. (October 2010 - April 2011) Assembled Grasshopper mobile conveyors at Mulyashi Mine Heap Leaching. (2011- 2012) Was member of the Luanshya Mines Rescue (2010 - April 2013)

Conducted maintenance on the Superior Gyratory Crusher at Nchanga East Mill Concentrator. Replaced the main shaft, inner and outer eccentric bush bearings, spider bush as well as the counter shaft. Replaced conveyor belts, conveyor idlers, conveyor pulleys, scrapers, skirtings and assembled conveyor pulleys. Joined conveyor belts using mechanical fasteners Maintained Warman pumps, sump pumps, vibrating screens, agitators and grinding mills. Maintained Sulzer Multistage Centrifugal Pumps at Konkola Mine number 1 shaft 2290 and 3240 pump chambers. Installed the first Scamont SC200 Pistol Pumps at 2290 and 3240 pump chambers. These were the first to be used to pump slurry from underground pump chamber settlers to surface, in the history of Zambian underground mining. Installed backfill line at 1850 level (Konkola mine number 3 shaft).

Maintained Primary Crushing Plant Machinery. Jaw Crushers, Cone Crusher, Apron Feeder, Grizzly Rollers and Conveyor Belts. Maintained Milling, Grinding and Floatation Machinery. Raw mills, cement mills, thickener agitators, slurry pumps, kiln support rollers, kiln coolers, coal mills, bucket conveyors and overhead cranes, Maintained Packing Plant Machinery. Maintained and replaced bucket elevators, screw conveyors, cement packer, laminated conveyor, deflectors, adjustable height truck loading portable conveyors and bulk loading chutes. Conducted maintenance works at Musamba Portable water treatment Plant. Replaced submersible pumps at the boreholes. Decommissioned Kiln 2 at Chilanga old Cement Plant.
