RESPONSIBILITIES 1) Manage the training and development of the staff under my control 2) Ensure that mining costs are optimum by preparing mining plans that lead to it 3) Working closely to Production and Maintenance departments to optimize mine plans according to resources available and the conditions at the mine 4) Liaising with the client on a daily basis to ensure a healthy relationship is maintained and the client is completely satisfied with the service being provided by U&M 5) Providing detailed short and Medium term plans and schedules to operations 6) Monitoring the compliance to the mine plans presented to operations 7) Monitoring compliance to Geo-technical parameters 8) Preparing Roads, Drainage and Infrastructure plans (short, medium and long term) 9) Planning & Scheduling so that all excavators are always provided with optimal mining blocks 10) Coordination with Geology, Geo-technical, Hydro geology, Survey and operation when preparing the monthly plans. 11) Ensure an optimal use of loading and hauling equipment through the provision of the following: permanent ramps of 30-40m wide @ 8-10% gradient, minimum excavator working radius of 30m, minimum dig face depending on the size of the excavator.

RESPONSIBILITIES 1) Daily monitoring of mine primary development performance(Budget v/s Actual) 2) Layout/Design preparation for operation (conceptual plan, primary development, etc.) 3) Implementation and monitoring of cost saving projects for the mine 4) Coordination with Geology, Geotechnical, Hydrogeology, Survey and operation to update technical information of section. 5) Co-ordination of UG mine design, development, drill & blast and stoping. 6) Adhering to safety awareness at all times 4) 3 monthly work schedule, keeping it on track 5) Preparing underground forecasts of development and production 6) Maintaining costs and schedules for all work in progress. 7) Compiling daily and monthly reports. 8) Providing Short & Medium Mine Plans

RESPONSIBILITIES 1) Preparation of detailed monthly mining and dump plans 2) Preparation of detailed weekly and daily mining and dump plans 3) Preparation of 3 months rolling mine and dump plans 4) Reviewing mine plan on a quarterly basis and amending forecasts as required 5) Monitoring monthly production performance against the mine plan and take corrective action as required 6) Planning & Scheduling so that all excavators are always provided with optimal mining blocks 7) Manage the training and development of the staff under my control 8) Ensure that mining costs are optimum by preparing mining plans that lead to it 9) Working closely to Production and Maintenance departments to optimize mine plans according to resources available and the conditions at the mine 10) Preparing Roads, Drainage and Infrastructure plans (short, medium and long term) 11) Developing daily/weekly production performance for the mining and production operations 12) Providing mining controls (Berms, profiles, dig limits etc) for production personnel in the pit and sequencing of excavators 13) Coordination with Geology, Geo-technical, Hydro-geology, Survey and operation when preparing the monthly plans. 14) Generation of mining layouts and daily and weekly mine schedules 15) Monitoring equipment performance; preparation of weekly and monthly production and compliance reports 16) Evaluating potential challenges and come up with solutions to short term planning issues and develop plans to overcome these challenges in order to achieve long term plans 17) Ensure an optimal use of loading and hauling equipment through the provision of the following: permanent ramps of 30-40m wide @ 8-10% gradient, minimum excavator working radius of 30m, minimum dig face depending on the size of the excavator. 18) Preparation of 1 year mining and dump plans (yearly budget plans) 19) Preparation of 3 year mine plan
