Field of responsibilities include: Day to day management of all areas of the company in accordance with the companyʼs business plan. Provide strategic, scientific, and operational input into individual study protocols and provide scientific oversight during execution of preclinical studies. Participate in analysis and review of data and editing of documents: preclinical study reports, SOPs, statistical analysis plans, and manuscripts. Responisble for profit/loss together with the Corporate managers of the vivoPharm group.

Field of responsibilities include: Responsible for setting up, monitoring and evaluating animal in vivo PD and efficacy studies performed by CROs for MorphoSys’ proprietary therapeutic antibody programs (indications include oncology and infection/inflammation). Develop and establish in vitro release assays for MorphoSys’ proprietary therapeutic antibody programs. Part of project management team providing data and specialist information for regulatory documents and filings. Write SOPs, reports and scientific publications.

Currently with the Preclinical Analysis department. Responsible for non-GLP and GLP in-house animal studies (planning, coordinating, organising and reporting) and the overall running of the animal facility. Managing a group of three technicians. Also coordinate studies with the company's Research department, facilitating their in vivo infection studies and allocating and coordinating the necessary manpower.

PhD work in molecular immunology at the department of Molecular Biotechnology, German Research Centre for Biotechnology, Braunschweig, Germany. (Supervisor: Dr. Siegfried Weiss) Project title: “Novel aspects on the role of IFN-beta in inflammation and immunity” Both in vitro and in vivo work in various animal models.

Master thesis work completed at at the Neuroscience Research Institute, University of Ottawa, Canada. (Supervisor: Associate prof. Dr. David S Park). Project title: ”Role of cyclin D1 in camptothecin induced cortical neuron death”. Biomedical programme educational council Vice-chairmanand elected class representative of the biomedical programme educational council. Also functioned as student representative in the planning group of upperlevel biomedical courses (1997-1999).
