Christo Herselman

I started in the IT industry back in 2006 at Rectron in dispatch department where I got promoted to sales floor 8 months later. I build and grew my dealer base to such extent where I achieved sales man of the year in 2009. I followed our CEO on his journey to Corex IT Distribution Dynamics and explored the Product Management field and achieved growth in Samsung and Sony brands from 0 to over 1 million a month. From there I moved into the sales assistant manager position where I assisted my sales manager and sales director to help grow and guide a sales team of 6 people. We had group targets to achieve as well as individual sales targets. Leading by example, customer interaction, managing of dealer bases and execution of sales strategies is key aspects which we drive on a day to day base. I decided change is needed in my life and took up a sales management position with Security & Communication Warehouse in Centurion 23/06/2014 as they specialize in CCTV, Access Control, Gate & Garage Automation, Electric Fencing, Fire Detection and Alarms. Started with a sales team of 4 people and 1 branch to now having 14 sales people and 5 branches in Gauteng, what a journey and still going strong!
