As an Associate at Tosdal, APC, I monitored and reported on the State of California's energy regulatory proceedings (CPUC and CEC). I performed regulatory compliance filings and represented our clients in collaborative activities with the local investor-owned utility (SDG&E) and community groups. Created public-facing summaries and presentations based on complex regulatory documents.

Sunflare's mission is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by creating a CIGS solar product that can go where other panels can't. The lightweight flexible, and lightweight framed panels allow for the deployment of solar energy in places previously deemed inappropriate for heavy, traditional solar. The team at Sunflare is passionate about renewable energy and helping customers achieve maximum value for their investment.

As a Head Coach with REV Sustainability Circles®, I helped corporate and non-profit participants to implement a wide range of best practices through which their organization can improve their connection with the environment and their employees, as well as approach ever-shifting sustainability legislation and technologies with confidence. REV helps companies develop tangible short and long term cost-savings through the creation of a 5-year, comprehensive Sustainability Action Plan. My role as Coach included group facilitation, curriculum presentations, speaker coordination, facility assessment, evaluation of Sustainability Action Plans and metrics, report writing, team collaboration and managing Assistant Coaches.

As a member of our 5-person Board of Directors, I lead community engagement and outreach efforts. This includes social media, quarterly newsletter, monthly farmer's market table, presentations, corporate partnerships, and promotion of our classes and events. We also consulted with local groups and churches on establishing gardens and the process they need to navigate with the City, as well as advising the City of Carlsbad Planning Division on their draft Urban Agriculture Ordinance.

As part of my year-long Capstone Project for my Master's Degree in Urban Sustainability, I assisted Urban Place with the planning and execution of the Village Square "Pop-Up Plaza"​ in Carlsbad Village.​ My Capstone (Thesis) focused on Placemaking and my involvement with Urban Place and the Carlsbad Village Association gave me an inside view of the complex relationship between a city's planning department, planning consultants, local businesses, organizations and residents. I am passionate about access to Public Space and Placemaking- in addition to my involvement with the Pop Up Plaza in Carlsbad Village, I studied the history and current issues in Placemaking and Land Use as part of my comprehensive Capstone Project, as well as writing a Placemaking Workshop Curriculum.

I was invited to Delhi, India to attend Al Gore's Climate Reality Leadership Training Program. This 3-day intensive conference presented compelling information on the current and future effects of Climate Change on a global scale. We were also given presentation tools to help us return to our communities and share the knowledge with others. Prior to travelling to India my colleague and I made the connection with an Indian professor of ours to ask for a visit to NGO, Swechha. We received a tour of their facilities and discussed their mission of repurposing raw materials into beautifully made items for re-sale (Green the Gap). Swechha's funds help school-age children receive nutrition and safety information, as well as a safe place to spend several hours a day. Swechha also works on campaigns to help clean up the holy Yumana River in Delhi. The entire experience of being in Delhi was shocking, humbling and adventurous!
