About
Christine Scarfuto hails from New Jersey, and is currently the Literary Manager at Long Wharf Theatre. She previously worked as the Producing Associate and Resident Dramaturg for Premiere Stages, a professional theater company in residence at Kean University in Union, NJ, and as the Producing Director of Strangemen & Co., a multi-disciplinary ensemble theatre company. For the past two years, she has served as the Curator and Producer for the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival’s summer theater lab, HVSF2. She was the Artistic Producer on the 2014 and 2015 PEN World Voices International Play Festival in conjunction with the Martin E. Segal Theatre Center, and was an Associate Producer with New Georges JAM Festival. She has served as the Literary Associate at Williamstown Theatre Festival and the Literary Fellow at Signature Theatre, and worked as a dramaturg with Clubbed Thumb, the Goodman Theatre, and the Playwrights Realm. She has taught theater courses at Fordham University, Rutgers University, and the University of Iowa.
