Christine Rupp

Christine Rupp has been the Executive Director at Dade Heritage Trust (DHT) since 2015. She has embarked on a variety of new initiatives by creating meaningful community partnerships to further the mission on the organization, and to ensure preservation remains relevant in an ever-evolving Miami. Ms. Rupp has overseen the new preservation of naturally occurring affordable housing project with DHT purchasing and restoring architecturally significant multi-family buildings in Little Havana that offer affordability, procured continued funding for DHT's K-12 Historic Places, Green Spaces educational program that services over 6000 Title 1 School students every year, and in 2024, launched a new podcast called Miami Preserves. In addition, Ms. Rupp serves as co-editor and contributor for DHT's annual Preservation Today Magazine, leads the organization's advocacy efforts and helps lead monthly-family friendly bike tours based on history and architecture.
