Established and expanded the Project and Product Delivery Department, integrating agile and results-based management practices that resulted in a 15% increase in product quality. Managed a portfolio of about 15 digital transformation and product development initiatives across Kenya, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Botswana, and Nigeria, ensuring all platforms were delivered within scope, on time, and to specification. Hired a multidisciplinary team, mentored business analysts, project and product managers, and supervised 25+ technical and support staff. Streamlined workflow efficiency and data-driven decision-making by about 40% by introducing standardised tools, templates, and performance dashboards.

Delivered two major projects, namely pharmacovigilance reporting systems and nationwide patient management systems built on open-source solutions.

Planned and executed global conferences in Uganda, Malawi, Kenya, Mozambique and Nigeria. Planned and executed community events, including implementer meetings and showcases, disseminated announcements and invitations and gathered feedback. Managed and maintained wiki pages, social media channels, and talk forums of events by OpenMRS (a global community dedicated to creating an effective open-source EMR platform to improve healthcare delivery in low-resource environments).

Project Lead in charge of designing, implementing and establishing the first Core Quality Assurance Framework, aiding product testing and release management, which was adopted and expanded upon by the global OpenMRS community. Achieved a 23% increase in automated test coverage, enhancing system reliability and enabling early detection of defects across core platform modules.

Managed end-to-end project delivery, managing scope, timelines, budgets and multidisciplinary resources for over seven projects.

Ensured all prioritised HIS implementations were functioning optimally in selected facilities and offering technical support and services to the project stakeholders.

Served as Implementation Coordinator for the KenyaEMR Project, supporting the timely rollout of the Health Information System in over 30 facilities across Central Kenya and in Nyanza as well. Coordinated training of health workers and ongoing technical support.
