About
Christine is interested in developing effective and responsible philanthropic strategy on behalf of both the grant-maker and grant-seeker. In addition to being Co-Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee, Executive Committee member and former Co-Chair of the Grants Committee for the Melbourne Women's Fund, she has considerable experience in building philanthropic revenue within the not-for-profit sector. She is also a creative fiction and non-fiction writer with two novels, plus numerous short stories, articles and memoir pieces published in Australia and internationally.

Integral member of a small, close-knit team that successfully transitioned L4Life from a small, predominantly volunteer-run not-for-profit to a financially healthy and respected provider of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA)–based services to children with Autism, regardless of their financial circumstances. Responsibilities included: Developing and managing L4Life’s philanthropic strategy, including proposal/acquittal preparation, resulting in an average 275% increase in annual trusts and foundations' revenue during tenure. Created L4Life's Fair Access Program to help attract early intervention financing for children with Autism from families in financial need. Coordinating the execution of L4Life’s marketing activities, including developing strategy, writing marketing communications content (website, annual/interim reports and brochures) and working with print and digital service providers to deliver those communications. The value of annual donations increased 267% and the number of donors increased by approximately 145% during tenure.
