Soul Alignment through Chaos The fear, anxiety and uncertainty we have experienced over the last 4 months has been overwhelming for many of us. The emotional roller coaster of happiness followed unexpectedly by anxious tears. Sometimes, the heaviness of those feelings is like running through mud. We barely move, we get dirty or we get stuck. After a decade working for newspapers, I decided to dive into what was my side business as a wedding and portrait photographer. Starting in February 2011 my full time job is Christina Stuart Photography. I photograph weddings, engagement portraits, family portraits, commercial photography, fashion models and just about everything anyone might need photographed. I have a portable studio, so I travel often. Brides and their grooms from all over the country request my service. I have photographed weddings in Maine, Washington state, Oregon, Louisiana and all over Florida. Since my background is photojournalism, I continue to do freelance work for newspapers and magazines. My photojournalism training influences my style of documenting events such as weddings and business meetings. I see the quieter, not so obvious storytelling moments and capture them easily. We especially capture the expression on your groom's face as he sees you walk down the isle in your gorgeous wedding dress.

Capturing people's essence is my gift to my clients. This applies to events, too. I capture the essence of an event, the speakers, the audience and the excitement that fills the room during an event. This is essential to attracting new people for a client's future events and keeps their current attendees coming back for more. The images can be used in social media and other marketing campaigns. People connect with the feelings a photo evokes from them. If they see excitement in attendee's faces, they will want to be a part of the next event! That means more people are served and uplifted by a speaker's message.

This company and these products changed and improved my life. I had been using the nutritional products in & off for 6 years. After doing their 30 Days to Healthy Living transition last February, I released 15 pounds and a total of 10 INCHES by making healthier choices and incorporating their products into my daily life. It was so easy! I have more energy, my brain is more focused & the weight stayed off! I was so moved by my results and inspired by their easy-to-earn business model, I joined as a consultant in June 2018. Working at Southern Photo as their education coordinator and lead lab consultant was an amazing experience. I combined my love of photography, teaching and helping people all in one job! Working for a small, local business taught me the importance of supporting your coworkers because they become family. As soon as I walked in the door, my coworkers welcomed me into their close-knit family. I enjoyed helping people archive, print and frame their special moments. Restructuring their education department involved me streamlining courses, creating new photography classes and training other instructors to teach the courses. I love sharing my knowledge and creating courses that help people see the world through their own lens.

For six years, I worked full time at Florida Today documenting the lives of Brevard County residents. I covered all high school sports, proms, homecomings, shuttle launches, brush fires, car accidents, births, deaths and general community living. My specialty at the newspaper were my portraits. I photographed the All Space Coast Athletes every season working closely with the sports department on new concepts annually. Also, for the 18-issue life of Florida Today's About Me monthly magazine, I photographed every cover, all the commercial work and on-location photos needed for the magazine which featured Brevard County women and their interests.

I worked for the Gainesville Sun in a full time, but temporary photography position. I remained working at the paper as a freelance photographer shooting daily and weekend assignments varying from sporting events to spot news and portraits.

Working as a summer photojournalism intern at The Salina Journal was my first real introduction to the field I ended up loving. My photo chief, Tom Dorsey, really understood how to encourage, support and teach a new photojournalist. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. He handed me a camera and set me running!

At the University of Florida, I worked at The Independent Florida Alligator as a photographer. I was also a member of NPPA (National Press Photographer's Association) and attended their annual conferences in Atlanta, Georgia.

I loved attending UF. I enjoyed all of my classes. I even worked on campus as a security supervisor for the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.
