I’m building a CNC and CAM audience without touching the machines.Two years ago, I was an elementary teacher.Today, I work in CNC precision manufacturing, connecting people, ideas, and conversations across the industry.I didn’t come into manufacturing claiming to be a machinist or a programmer. I came in curious, committed to learning, and willing to ask questions out loud. I take Tooling U courses to understand the language of the shop. I listen to machinists, programmers, engineers, and shop leaders with decades of experience. I pay attention to what works, what doesn’t, and where the pressure really lives.My role isn’t to run machines.It’s to understand the people, the decisions, and the realities that shape modern manufacturing, and to help tell those stories clearly and honestly.I’m the co-host and editor of CNC Underground, where we create space for real conversations about CNC, CAM, shop culture, technology, and the future of the trade. Growing this community to 4,000 followers has been about consistency, respect for the craft, and building trust with people who do the work every day.I also work with Midwest CAM Solutions, supporting manufacturers as they evaluate software, workflows, and long-term decisions that affect their competitiveness and their people.I hold a Master’s in Education with a focus on mental health, and I’m a strong advocate for self-care in manufacturing. Sustainable performance matters.
