Experience in costing, financial management and reporting of 30 EU funded projects

I lead a small team of EU project staff who provide high-quality support for the research staff coordinating European projects in the agency. My role is to advocate and provide expertise on European funding, to represent Fera at appropriate national and international networking events, and to advise and assist research staff on the preparation of successful applications. We have a good track record in developing and winning high quality research bids. Currently we coordinate 8 mostly in KBBE theme of FP7 and are partners in 35.

I lead the Bids and Tenders team at Fera, who support the research staff to bid for grants and tenders in the UK, EU and Worldwide. The support includes identification of opportunties, bid guidance, eligibility and submission management. I also manage a team of staff who provide high-quality project management support for the research staff coordinating large multi parnter projects in the UK and EU.
