Oversaw training for 110 teachers, evaluated the performance of 30 teachers and 4 teacher managers in the area of effective instructional practices based on research based components of instruction. Actively sought out and recognized teachers for their accomplishments to cultivate a positive school culture where teachers and staff members feel appreciated and valued resulting in a 98% teacher retention rate for my team during the 2015-2016 school year. Regularly researched and kept up to date with legislative changes in the educational field to ensure that our school was in compliance with state and federal mandates. (ex. SB 850, Florida Statute 1002.455 and 1002.37) Developed and implemented school-wide action plans to ensure continuous improvement towards meeting annual school goals contributing to in an increase of our school grade from a “C” to a “B” for the 2013-2014 school year, maintaining a school grade of a “B” for the 2014-2015 school year and obtaining a school ranking of 27th out of 1,649 Title 1 schools in the state for Reading proficiency. Using student data from multiple sources, lead Student Support Team (SST) meetings to help teachers provide personalized learning plans for students: through identifying the students’ greatest area of need using the Response to Intervention (RtI) process while ensuring that teachers have the tools necessary to enrich students that are performing above grade level. Using research based practices, designed and delivered training for school leaders on teacher evaluation practices, customizing solutions for school leaders and implementing the RtI process. Lead nationwide Virtual Administrative Professional Learning Communities in Math, Response to Intervention and Virtual School Teacher Effectiveness for Connections Academy’s virtual school leaders Developed and managed a state-wide virtual Summer Reading Camp program for third grade students struggling to demonstrate proficiency in reading.

Managed a staff of 20 employees with no staff turnover for four years as the school’s Aftercare Supervisor. Directed Aftercare program for students in grades K-5 resulting in a highly effective program rating in all areas including facility maintenance, parent satisfaction, behavior/discipline, emergency preparation, and staff management for four consecutive years.
