During my 5 years at PCOM I had the chance to work at clinics off site as well as on the campus. These exposed me to integrative medicine and charity work. The off site clinics included: Rady's children's hospital, Cancer center, Pacific Beach homeless shelter, Family Recovery Center and the Downtown San Diego Senior center. While on campus I worked on several women's health and fertility shifts as well as geriatrics and sports injuries/pain management. I also made it a point to take one shift each and every semester in 5 Element Acupuncture to learn that style and help treat psychological/emotional disorders.
