As a mentor for the HKU Startup Seed Fund Incubation Program, I provide guidance and support to early-stage companies accepted into the program. Responsibilities include: Offering strategic advice and mentorship to founders on business model development, product strategy, marketing, fundraising, and other key aspects of building and scaling a sustainable business. Connecting founders with relevant industry contacts, investors, and other resources to help accelerate growth. Reviewing pitches, business plans, and financial projections and providing constructive feedback. Facilitating workshops and group discussions on entrepreneurship best practices. Monitoring progress and performance and advising on necessary pivots or adaptations. Collaborating with the incubation program team to continuously improve the curriculum and mentor support I have worked with amazing young entrepreneurs and the founders of 3 companies in mental well-being, smart recycling, and sustainability: Hollo: a Clinical-Grade software platform that aims to help measure, track, and treat the mental health and well-being of Chronic Patients.
