About

Currently, I am working as an Architectural Designer in residential home building. To me, the most intriguing and important aspects about being in the architectural field are the building's structural components and details. I find these two areas are often the most overlooked areas from a design point of view but are critical for a streamlined process of design concept to built reality. In my opinion, keeping those types of checks in the design process creates a better designer and design overall. My short term goal is to continue my path to becoming a registered architect by going back to school for a Masters in Architecture for the fall of 2016. My long term goal is to become a certified architect in order to further my career with an innovative and creative architectural firm. A personal goal I have within the architectural field is to provide affordable or free shelters to those around the world who are in need of a secure and safe living space.
