we build wheels that go beyond function. With a strong focus on engineering and design, I work on creating wheels that give our customers the freedom to express their own style. SIXNINE stands for individuality, quality, and a clear vision: to rethink what a wheel can be.

Worked on the development of lumbar supports and motion mechanisms for seating systems, focusing on injection-moldable, cost-efficient designs. Tasks included 3D modeling in Creo Parametric, simulation-based optimization, and testing according to BIFMA and DIN standards. Collaboration with design, tooling, and manufacturing teams ensured functional and production-ready solutions.

Gained hands-on experience in both toolmaking and product development, with a focus on the design and optimization of injection-molded components. Activities included supporting the construction and refinement of molds, 3D modeling, and design-for-manufacturing in collaboration with development teams. Involvement across multiple project phases provided in-depth insights into the interaction between part design and tooling strategies.

Helped students in strengthening their understanding of core mechanical concepts and provided assistance with comprehending topics including bolted, glued, and welded joints. Additionally, I supported students in mastering spring mechanics and general strength calculations.

Development of retrofit conversion for natural gas-fired CHP plants to 100% hydrogen operation. Research in the field of safety devices and injection metering for hydrogen.
