I currently spend my days writing software in a variety of languages (Ruby, JavaScript, Java) across several platforms (Rails, Android, iOS, J2EE) to support a finder site with 500k page views per day. I also spend a fair amount of time working on the infrastructure side of things, configuring EngineYard clusters, Amazon Web Services EC2 instances with Capistrano and Ansible and configuring Elasticache and RDS instances. When not working on the technical aspects of the project, I assist in story writing and definition and prioritization. We operate in an eXtreme Programming agile software development methodology. We utilize Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment and Paired Programming to ensure that we deliver the highest quality software to our clients.
