Chris Scullin

At Norwest I invest in great businesses and partner closely with their founders and management teams to drive accelerated growth and next level outcomes. On behalf of Norwest and in collaboration with my all-star team, I have led investments in Irth Solutions, Envestnet, Zelis, and Harbor Global since joining in 2024. Prior to Norwest, I spent over a decade with Bain Capital’s flagship North America fund, where I focused on application software investments like athenahealth. Before focusing on investments, I was an operator within the Bain Capital portfolio with significant exposure from the Board to the front lines. I helped growth software company Waystar scale through a GTM rebuild and strategic M&A. I also led post-merger integration and GTM strategy refresh for Surgery Partners in its acquisition of National Surgical Healthcare, and took on multiple roles in finance and core operations in the turnaround of Gymboree. I graduated as a Baker Scholar from Harvard Business School, where I spent time working closely with Professor Clayton Christensen to author a book. Before that, I graduated magna cum laude from the Boston College Honors Program as a member of the Gabelli Presidential Scholars Program.
