My passion is for creative applications that push the boundaries of media, building applications that connect people and empower them with technology. I am a Technology Dreamer, Developer, and Project Manager. My focus is on web and mobile apps. I prefer to develop in Ruby on Rails on the web, Objective-C on iOS and Java on Android. I also have experience in Javascript including NodeJS, React and Angular. As well as experience with ActionScript/Flash, and PHP. I love to help make decisions which support both short and long term business goals, reduce technical risks and manage costs. On the systems side, I have spent the last 7 year developing and deploying apps in AWS. I have experience in the design, implementation and maintenance of systems ranging from small client/server networks with just a few nodes to retail back-end systems spread across 100's of sites in multiple states, to most recently, web scale cloud based applications. I use and have experience with Linux HA, Apache HTTPD, nginx, Lucene/Solr, Nagios, Chef, Ansible and GlassFish.
