Plus...it's fun, and it's the 4th best work location in which I've ever worked: #1 was at Bay Ship & Yacht on the Oakland Estuary #2 was on board the various aircraft with Transamerica Airlines #3 was on the outdoor pool decks coaching the Manatees Masters Team Not only were these wonderful locations in which to work, but the commute to each of these worksites was very short at less than five miles! Hired by Staffing companies in the Engineering, Transportation, and IT arenas with a goal of improving "Quality-of-Fill", "Time-to-Fill", "Posting Effectiveness", and overall Talent Acquisition metrics coupled to P&L performance. Reporting to the Executive Leadership, responsible for the analysis and implementation of improvements in office operations, team efficiencies, Lead Generation, recruiting productivity, office communications, customer service, hiring, team building, and office profitability. Also, develop performance-based reward plans coupled with challenging yet attainable metrics.

Continuing as a Referee (Grade 7) , officiating club soccer games in the Greater Reno area. Began refereeing for the Jack London Youth Soccer League in the SF Bay Area in 2001. Refereed my 1,000th soccer game on September 29, 2023...hitting 2,000 may be a challenge...!

Just a fun job working in this marine retail store providing products and help to power-boaters, sailors, skiers, fisherman, cruisers, stand-up paddle-boarders, river runners, and non-boating DIY'ers who clearly appreciate the products that are available! Who would have thought Reno has such a huge boating community! Fun stuff!

Following the completion and orientation with the "Sherri Vaughan HR-Nevada Total Immersion Course" and the "Marcella Granick Recruiting Module", I was ready for my one-year stint with HPC. Accountable for driving/leading the full life-cycle recruiting for all field and office positions while supporting this investment company's growth. Positions include: IT, SW Engineering, Accounting, Investor Relations, Project Management, Property Management, Construction Management, Construction, Field Maintenance, Facilities Management, and Admin roles.

Sourcing, screening, and selection efforts for professional, technical, managerial, administrative and bargaining unit positions for the San Mateo County Transit District (SamTrans), the Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board (Caltrain), and the San Mateo County Transit Authority (TA).

Referee, Coordinator, Assignor, and Mentor Program Lead for this very large youth soccer organization of more than 6,000 players. Worked with some outstanding people in this largely voluntary role. So much fun, and the best seat in the house for a soccer fan!
