• Created and executed solution level test plans for multiple micro data center projects; including thermal / environmental, fire suppression, emitted auditory noise, smoke / fire detection, emergency ventilation functionality, and EcoStruxure DCIM solution management testing. • Provided technical support to ME and EE design engineers throughout project design and prototyping processes to ensure that critical environmental and thermal requirements drove appropriate component selections and design considerations. • Interfaced with technical experts for EcoStruxure IT Gateway hardware, EcoStruxure IT Expert software, Netbotz, Universal Enclosures, ACRM In-Rack Cooler, Climasys thermal solutions, Redetec fire suppression, EBM Papst ventilation, Vents dampers and various others to ensure efficient execution of all project objectives and to meet all project requirements.

• Provided onsite engineering technical support for Schneider Electric Ecoflair product build in Conselve, Italy, and for initial product installation at customer site in Lyon, France. • Provided engineering technical support at customer data centers in Toronto, Canada; Bethesda, Maryland; and Belleville, Illinois. • Developed new engineering test lab SCADA system with controls, data collection and report generation functionalities utilizing NI LabVIEW and coding best practices • Perform R&D performance and efficiency testing on Schneider Electric IT cooling products • Manage regulatory submissions for performance and efficiency of Schneider Electric IT cooling products with both U.S. Dept. of Energy (DOE) and the California Energy Commission (CEC) • Maintained involvement with AHRI Datacom Cooling Section, ASHRAE TC9.9, ASHRAE SPC 127 and ASHRAE SSPC 90.4 to provide technical input and ensure that Schneider Electric maintained status as a key stakeholder in the Datacom Cooling industry

Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Engineered and implemented various production improvement and optimization projects. Managed multiple maintenance crews and delegated daily work responsibilities. Completed a wide variety of new manager's and industry specialized coursework. Created a detailed, long-term shutdown plan for multiple hot mill slab furnaces.

Built electric appliance motors and installed thermocouples for heat run testing. Performed heat run, efficiency and maximum load testing on two and three-speed appliance motors. Generated engineering work orders (EWO) and bills of material (BOM) using Oracle. Completed failure analysis procedures on field returned appliance motors.

Generated formulas and graphs representing trends in test data. Fabricated and utilized a system for testing the effectiveness of in-line water separators in a compressed air system. Designed and fabricated metallic parts and structures to limit deflection in a prototype adapter. Performed repeatability testing with prototype equipment.

Maintained rapport with contractors, vendors and in-plant supervisors. Handled projects involving the replacement of in-plant machinery. Created business case and financial appropriation paperwork.
