About
Wei Zhou is currently an Assistant Professor at Cardiff University, UK, and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Waterloo, Canada. Wei received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2021 (joint with the University of Waterloo from 2019 to 2021). Dr. Zhou was a visiting scholar in National Institute of Informatics, Tokyo, Japan in 2017; a research intern in Microsoft Research and Alibaba, in 2018 and 2019, respectively. Dr. Zhou's research interests span multimedia computing, perceptual image processing, and computational vision. In recent years, Dr. Zhou has published over 80 refereed papers in these areas, including those published in prestigious journals and top international conferences.
