* First Article Inspection and Mechanical Analysis of vendor-supplied mechanical parts using CMM, height gages, optical and video comparators, and various hand-held inspection tools. * Assisted Failure Analysis lab with visual examinations of various components using microscope and video imaging/capture equipment, mechanical failure analysis and writing technical reports. * Designed various active forms (using Microsoft Excel) used to analyze and report measurement data. * Upgraded lab capabilities through acquisition of digital height gage and fixture plate for CMM resulting in 50% reduction in lab cycle time and increased measurement accuracy.

* Led qualification of more than 100 CNC machining centers in preparation for production ramp. * Interviewed, hired and led a team of more than 80 employees, including quality engineers, supervisors, programmers, technicians and mechanical and cosmetic inspectors. * Led quality team effort to increase yields by more than 70% during production ramp. * Led daily quality reviews with customer and internal teams to identify and resolve quality issues impacting production.

* Senior Manager Supply Chain Performance * September 2011 – December 2012) * Developed key non-direct OEM parts supplier to drive reduced parts cost and increased availability: * o Improved delivery to commit from 57% to 97%. * o Improved IQC acceptance from 79% to 98%. * o Reduced parts cost by more than 20%. * Responsible for developing external repaint capability: * o Designed and implemented infrastructure to insure robust part qualification. * o Delivered more than $400K cost savings in first six months. * Senior Supplier Quality Manager * January 2010 - September 2011) * Managed a team of 12 supplier quality engineers in Hong Kong and the Philippines. * Developed and implemented a strategy to reduce the key customer defect rate from 5% to less than 2% over the course of one year. * Redesigned outgoing inspection process of refurbished mobile phones to focus on customer impacting issues resulting in 50% reduction in inspector head count and improved customer experience.
