In November 2022, Mandiant officially became part of Google Cloud.

- Conducted investigations into alerts generated by EDR products, network intrusion detection/prevention appliances, and third party SIEM sources as part of the Managed Defense team in order to deliver compromise reports with actionable remediation information and relevant forensic artifacts to customers - Coordinated and led daily analysis efforts and stand-up meetings as a SOC Shift Lead - Performed malware triage to ascertain basic capabilities and configurations of PE and ELF binaries, as well as deobfuscation of malicious PowerShell and other script-based payloads - Collaborated with malware analysis and threat intelligence teams to contextualize intrusion events - Mentorship and training of new hires to the team as well as training others within the Managed Defense organization

Worked primarily with the NIST SP 800-37 Risk Management Framework performing duties consistent with the role of a Security Control Assessor. Working familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 security controls, RMF and risk assessment procedures outlined in NIST SP 800-37, STIG implementation, and Tenable Nessus. Duties performed for US Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM).
