* Manage the planning/expediting of all material required for an uninterrupted flow of materials for manufacturing of International Diesel Trucks. * Manage the logistics/freight for all inbound material from suppliers to the Garland Assembly Plant. Equates to approximately 150 truckloads per day. * Manage a group of 14 material planners responsible for insuring all material arrives at plant as needed. * Communicate with suppliers in regards to expected delivery plans, missed delivery plans and upcoming forecast changes. * Oversee the materials group responsible for all pilot programs related to new features and options, managing break dates so that obsolete material is kept to a minimum. * Develop methods to help reduce the amount of working capital needed to maintain production levels. Current inventory level is approximately $50 million.

* Manage the purchasing of all raw materials, receiving, inventory control, and materials warehouse. * Administer, extend, negotiate, and terminate all contracts and pricing with vendors. * Compile and analyze data so that informed recommendations are presented to upper management. * Developed a vendor grading system to inform vendors of monthly performance. * Development of new suppliers thru a supplier partner relationship dependant upon ongoing dialogue, performance measurements, and reporting of improvements as well as deficiencies. * Develop annual budgets, goals and inventory levels for materials team to achieve. * Visit new and existing vendors to perform supplier evaluations in the supplier selection process. * Led multiple cost saving projects saving over $750,000. * Work closely with Product Engineer in the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process.

* Manage two assembly production lines, manufacturing extruded aluminum patio doors, from the receiving of manufactured parts to the completion of a finished product. * Supervise 5 team leaders and 55 team members. * Ensure OSHA safety standards and regulations are maintained. * Maintain high quality standards. * Implemented continuous improvement programs to reduce and control cost and waste. * Work closely with product engineer to help design and implement new product offerings. * Schedule production using division wide computer program displaying customer demand by region. * Maintain accurate WIP and raw inventories. * Improve labor variances, and productivity on a consistent basis to meet company goals. * Generate daily spreadsheets advising all facility managers of current productivity level and daily schedule status.

* Manage a customer service team responsible for order entry, project management, warranty of products, RMA’s, and all aspects of customer communication from order intake to shipment of product. Forecasted year end order bookings total $79 million and shipments totaling $76 million. * Monitor industry trends and market conditions, interprets high impact issues and problems and recommends enterprise wide solutions. * Manage all aspects of in-bound and out-bound Logistics for the Sulphur Springs facility totaling over $2.5M annual spend. * Manage the shipping and receiving team which includes receiving of all incoming material into ERP system, incoming receiving inspections, coordinating carriers, and transacting all shipments which prompts revenue recognition. * Insure all international in-bound and out-bound shipments follow Import and Export Compliance guidelines and procedures.
