Chris Medhurst

Chris is currently the President and COO of District Taco - a Yucatan-style, fast casual Mexican restaurant chain. When he joined the company in 2010, it had one food truck. Today the company has 21 brick-and-mortar locations generating over $25mn in annual revenue. Their existing footprint spans DC, MD, VA, PA, NY, NJ and FL, and future plans include 65+ franchise units under development along the East Coast of the United States. During his time at District Taco, he has served as Cashier, General Manager, Director of Operations, VP of Finance & Operations, and Chief Financial Officer. Chris graduated from James Madison University in 2010 with a double major in Finance and Management and a minor in Economics. He also holds a MS in Accounting and Financial Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, and a MS in Computer Science from George Mason University. In his free time he plays water polo on the NOVA masters team and enjoys downhill skiing, reading, exercising and spending time with his wife, daughter, and their two cats.
