Human Resources functions. Utilizing Taleo to electronically post jobs and screen candidates. Our process is entirely web-based, so new hires are given training on the system and enrollment in benefits. Our goal is to give everyone else who works here the tools they need to do their job. Personal interaction and communication is key. Other duties as needed. This includes event planning and procurement of items and services to promote our brand and involve our workers.

Handled payroll for all Community College employees. Also completed insurance, retirement, workers compensation, and quarterly reporting. Managed an office and completed all forms for employees to process all pay-related requests. Created reports and documentation to meet tax, unemployment, and federal deposits for the college.

Led a team of maintenance and office workers in a small low-rent housing agency. With grants and assistance from federal and city administrators, managed 100 low rent properties and another 100 vouchers for private landlords on the Section Eight program. Performed full-time management for a 50 apartment high-rise facility, collected rent, performed inspections, and adhered to strict financial oversight. Strategically planned for operations over a five-year plan for administration of government allotments, following guidelines set up by HUD.

20 years of supervisory experience in an automotive distribution center. Performed performance evaluations and kept Kronos time data for my direct reports. Developed a new system for processing returned goods utilizing bar code technology. Participated in green initiatives by recycling paper and corrugated materials and led numerous project roll-outs for new customers. Managed a fluctuating workforce on a daily basis.
