I had many different responsibilities whilst working in Sainsbury’s. These responsibilities include ensuring all products on the shop floor are eligible for sale to the customers; I am responsible for products that are not suitable for sale to be disposed of by sticking to the stores policies. I also must ensure the customers enjoy the best shopping experience possible, by doing this, I engage with customers, understanding what they are looking for and delivering to their needs.

My responsibilities at Super Star Sports as a sports coach include visiting various schools and nurseries delivering training sessions, PE lessons and sports coaching in – football, rounders and athletics.

My responsibilities at Jigsaw Estate Agents include, conducting viewings and showing potential tenants around properties, assist in arranging access to properties via tenants and landlords, contact applicants for feedback, various types of canvassing including, leaflet dropping, door knocking, draft property description for external adverts, post adverts on advertising portals (Spare Room, Expert Agent), take internal/external photographs and present the property in the best possible light, picking up incoming calls and directing them to relevant departments or taking messages for colleagues and to maintain relations with customers.

During my time at both London Greek Radio and Hertfordshire Mercury I had the opportunity to put my journalistic skills that were developed at university in a real-life situation. Work included writing articles that were published on both company’s websites and contacting and interviewing important figures.
