Co-Founder
Pro-Aero

Principal Aerodynamicist
Hitech 26
Silverstone, England, United Kingdom
Led the aerodynamic development group in creating a car that complies with the 2023 regulations, showcasing the company's progress toward becoming a competitive F1 team for entry in 2026. Regular one-on-one meetings were conducted to prioritize workloads and ensure clear target understanding. I spearheaded the definition and implementation of new procedures to enhance efficiency and uphold high standards. Additionally, correlation projects utilizing two wind tunnel models and in-house CFD were executed. Weekly group meetings were led to review results and determine short-term direction.

Principal Aerodynamicist
Enstone, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom
I led a team of skilled aerodynamicists in consistently providing performance updates throughout the F1 season and seizing opportunities during the early concept phases for the 'mid car'. I oversaw the analysis of wind tunnel, CFD, and track data to comprehend the correlation between bargeboard and FWD floor developments. Regular communication with planning coordinators ensured timely updates at key events. My strengths lie in communication, innovation, and leadership.

Deputy Principal Aerodynamicist
Enstone
Supported the Principal by leading a sub-group to provide performance updates after a modification to the technical regulations affecting the FWD floor area. I employed a creative approach alongside thorough analysis of the results to maximize the development rate.

Senior Aerodynamicist
Brackley, UK
During my tenure at Mercedes, I had the opportunity to develop aerodynamics for all areas of the car from concept to final release. One of my proudest achievements was defining the front wing for 2014 following a change in regulations. Understanding the key changes in flow structures by reducing wingspan was essential. This resulted in a more stable car that exhibited greater predictability on the track. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in understanding the sensitivity to changes in the rear tyre profile, leading to a project that maintained peak rear loading without sacrificing performance when altering tire profiles. In 2009, I developed the rear brake drum assembly in conjunction with the outer part of the double diffuser as a package.

Aerodynamicist / Design Engineer
Leafield / Teddington
I utilised CAD to develop new conceptual designs through surfacing techniques, and subsequently designed model parts for wind tunnel testing. Since 2007, I delivered aerodynamic projects under the guidance of senior aerodynamicists in order to accelerate development. In 2008, I contributed to a project to research the regulatory changes for 2009. Additionally, I provided support for the aerodynamic final projects of three students from various universities, all of whom successfully secured positions in the F1 industry. This experience allowed me to work within a very small team, where I assumed significant responsibility, and I thoroughly enjoyed this rewarding opportunity.

Aerodynamic Design Engineer
Jordan / Midland / Spyker
Brackley, England, United Kingdom
I worked with aerodynamicists to design 40% scale model parts using in-house manufacturing methods. This was a good opportunity to develop my CAD skills using CATIA V5. I learnt how to design components for manufacture using carbon fibre, various SLA resins and metals.
