Safe Cronite is a leader of supplying special-purpose alloys resistant to high temperatures and thermal shock. Our fixtures withstand the extreme conditions necessary to heat treat batches of customer parts, such as gearbox gears. This role requires me designing bespoke parts for common brands of furnace worldwide (These parts include: Base Trays, Intermediate Grids, Columns, Baskets, Stacking Trays, bespoke customer parts, etc). I follow the parts I design throughout its life cycle and respond when problems arise. The majority of my work is carried out on Solidworks (2013,2016) and involves FEA. I also use Draftsight/AutoCad for drawings created before the company transitioned to 3D CAD.

* I am rotating around the different departments of QuEST Global learning about the departments and customers. * By the end of my apprenticeship I will have: * Worked within methodologies and processes defined by customers. * Performed aerospace engineering design. * Produced engineering solutions within a given specification. * Enhanced existing designs to accommodate new service goals.

As part of my apprenticeship I completed the Higher National Certificate (HNC/HND) alongside the Performing Engineering Operations (PEO) and National Vocational Qualification (NVQ). The first year was full time at college with the following year completed part time.
