* The Supported Employment Manager plans, organizes, and implements supported employment * programs in Sonoma, Napa, and Solano Counties. He or she is responsible for providing * coordination and communication with the Department of Rehabilitation, North Bay Regional * Center, and employment development agencies. The Supported Employment Manager develops * individual and group job placements, supervises Job Coaches who perform work assessments, * employee coaching, and performance evaluations, and performs all similar job duties. * The Supported Employment Manager coordinates individual and group job placements for adults * with developmental disabilities transitioning from Adult Day Programs and Special Education * Classes. He or she ensures that Individual Habilitation Plans are completed and submitted to * North Bay Regional Center and the California Department of Rehabilitation. The Supported * Employment Manager is responsible for administering supported employment programs in * accordance with Title 17 of the California Welfare and Institutions Code.

The Program Manager is also responsible for staff supervision and * training * program development and implementation * Individual Service Plan/Individual * Habilitation Plan preparation and evaluation * facility maintenance and transportation * production * support * administrative support * Regional Center, Licensing, DOR, and CARF communication * and employee welfare and safety. The Program Manager also works directly with employees * with developmental disabilities in employment, recreation, and education activities.

* Mentor Parent Advisors and assist in training new Parent Advisors. * Represent Matrix at community events on behalf of management as needed. * Continue all Parent Advisor duties listed below. * Parent Advisor * Serve families of children with special needs in Napa, Solano, and Sonoma Counties. * Answer Matrix Helpline 1-2 days per week. * Coach parents, provide support and information to help them advocate for their own children. * Keep current on special education law and practices. * Attend IEP meetings to provide support and model collaborative problem solving. * Lead support groups, online and in person. * Library, Social Media and E-learning * Manage a large collection of print resources; ordering new materials, keeping information current, and maintaining organization of materials. * Create written content for website and information packets. * Create and maintain Matrix Facebook page. * Attend a variety of trainings on social media and its intersection with more traditional forms of media, such as print, e-newsletters and static web sites. * Create and collaborate on interactive online trainings.
