ChM. Dr Muhammad Fauzi Abd Jalil

As a Deputy Manager Formulation at Sumitomo Chemical Enviro-Agro Asia Pacific, I spearhead the new product formulation, innovation, and development of insecticides. I have over four years of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, with a PhD in Pharmacy from UCL and a Master of Engineering in Bioprocess from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. My mission is to create effective and safe insecticides that protect crops and the environment from pests and diseases. I collaborate with Sumitomo Chemical Japan to promote new ideas, and manage the Formulation Development department and its cross-functional partnerships. I also have a strong background in lipid delivery systems, cell biology, and biochemistry, which I applied in my previous roles as an Associate at Biocon and a Research Officer at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. I have published multiple papers in peer-reviewed journals and obtained a corporate biologics cGMP training certification.
