About
I am a almuni at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) who double majored in Psychobiology (B.S.) and Sociology (B.A.). I crave learning about how things work within every layer: biological, psychologically, and on bigger scales like analyzing societies and cultures. I am deeply interested in the intersections of the environment and people: How do humans change their environment? How does the environment influence human emotions and experiences? Can humans be influenced to stop climate change? To further my understanding, I also pursued an Environmental Systems & Society minor. My academic interests have seeped into other aspects of my life as well. I was the Vice President of Lifestyle for Sustainability AGE (SAGE), an environmental club at UCLA that focuses on corporate consulting, legislation, and lifestyle. I am also involved in the creative space, including poetry, photography, and music. As a former member of UCLA Radio, I coordinated with the programming department to host diverse content, including highlighting our DJs and programmings. I'm a published writer & photographer as well, collaborating with an artist collective to illustrate and publish our own zine. All of these experiences have shaped my passions and ambition to apply my skills and interests to the real world. I hope to get involved in research and pursue higher education in environmental psychology, epigenetics, and similar fields. As for now, I’m looking into research positions and internships focused on life science and music industry in the Greater Los Angeles area.
