Led the architecture design and co-ordinated algorithms, hardware, firmware and software teams for 4G LTE IoT modem development effort. Architected hardware and embedded software design and led the development of physical layer of industry's first 1Gbps wireless LTE Modem MDM9x55 used in the iPhone 8. Also, architected and led design of iterative demodulation feature supported in this modem. Led the area optimization and on-chip memory reduction effort for LTE Modem MDM9x45 used in iPhone 7. Architected hardware and embedded software design and led the development of physical layer of advanced interference cancellation, and multi-user (MU) MIMO detection based LTE-advanced Modem MDM9x35 used in the iPhone 6s. Developed efficient MIMO demodulator algorithms, and designed MIMO demodulation hardware, architected and led development of front-end physical layer receiver of industry's first dual carrier LTE Modem MDM9x25 used in the iPhone 5s and iPhone 6.
