Understand current/future business needs and proactively provide commercial solutions (typically contract manufacturing) to business/technology partners. Key Accomplishments: • Built and institutionalized the knowledge to enable scale-up and external manufacturing capabilities that are needed to support EMN’s growth as a specialty chemical company. • Oversaw the sourcing of core intermediate during unplanned extended plant outage in 2017. Sourced 100s of millions of pounds of intermediates and provided key leadership to the cross-functional team that was responsible for reversing the entire supply chain quickly at the start of the incident and reversing it once again as operations were restored. • Finalized key co-producer deal and led the cross-company steering team to develop implementation team. • Supported Corporate Growth Programs by developing 3rd party manufacturing strategies for top corporate growth initiatives

• Developed unique expertise in EMN’s Organic Intermediates BU, a truly global business unit with a complex mix of products and markets: >35 Products that are intermediates or derivatives of core Eastman products serving the Fine Chemical Industry and attractive end markets (Food, Feed, Ag Int, Pharma, Flavors & Fragrances). • Responsible for P&L of this $200M/yr business

o Responsible for electricity purchases at Eastman's NAR sites: Three large integrated sites: Longview, TX; Columbia, SC; Kingsport, TN; other NA sites - Chestertown MD, Jefferson PA, Tyler TX (over 1.5k GWh; $60M) o Working with network of other industrial energy users, negotiated rate cases with utilities - Ex: SCE&G and SWEPCO cases totaling $950M system wide.

Responsible for P&L of ~$40M Electricity Business Unit (external sales of excess electricity). Led Business Team – external sales and EMN-TX site electricity and steam requirements. Drove several improvement projects resulting in improved earnings.

• Led Product/Customer Transition Team – This team was responsible for transitioning customers from product manufacturing change that involved site, technology, and chemistry changes. This project involved commercializing all the new products (Ex: legal, safety, technology reviews), developing the manufacturing and sales specifications for the products, developing and executing: the communication plan ( >175 customers involved), the internal qualifications, and external testing with key customers • Led the Copolyester Business Intelligence team – this team is responsible for monitoring competitive activity by compiling information from sales representatives in all regions and drawing key takeaways as an input to business strategy development
