Overall accountability for API manufacturing (Steriles and Orals) for GSK’s cephalosporins supply chain unit. Act as Site Director for 50% of the time for this API manufacturing unit.

Operations Director responsible for Intermediates, Utilities, Orals and Steriles API manufacturing for GSK’s cephalosporins antibiotics facility.

Leadership role responsible for Steriles API manufacturing business on site. Responsible for delivering transformation change in compliance, quality and manufacturing performance for the area.

Operations Lead for Intermediates manufacturing unit and overall responsibility for all aspects of this business.

Managing a technical team of 17 Engineers and Chemists, responsible for - Implementing a portfolio of 25 active projects with an investment in excess of £15m. - Process Safety remediation programme - Technical Chemistry Laboratory services - Formulate a strategy for identifying new business for the value stream

Managing engineering activities for the Steriles Value Stream that involves a Vial Filling plant filling in 1.2 million vials a week and a Bulk Sterile Plant making 2.5 tonnes of Bulk Sterile antibiotic product a week. Managing the R&M budget close to £1m for the Value Stream, an engineering team of 18 tradesmen and 2 Team Leaders and Engineering representative for all capital projects in the Value Stream.

- Managing an operations team of 11 people in a bulk sterile pharmaceutical facility. - Schedule Adherence, man management skills, performance management for operations team.

Project Management Process Safety Plant Design Energy Management

Downstream Processing operation in a GMP environment, process troubleshooting, equipment / process qualification and batch records / GMP documentation review.

- Process identification, optimisation, process re-engineering, project co-ordination & implementation, scale-up and equipment design / operational & validation qualification. - Six Sigma and Strategic Quality Management committee.
