I am a Packaging Development Professional with over 3 years of experience in MNC and Pharmaceutical industries, specializing in innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective packaging solutions. My career has been built on expertise in PET, HDPE, PPCP, and BOPP packaging materials, and I bring a proven track record of delivering successful new product development (NPD), existing product development (EPD), sustainable packaging, and artwork management projects. In my current role as a Packaging Development & Initiatives Executive at Asian Paints Ltd, I manage end-to-end packaging responsibilities, from concept design to commercial rollout. This includes mould development, transit validation trials (drop, stack, vibration), vendor identification and development, procurement negotiations, and SAP BOM creation. I play a key role in inventory planning, first connectivity with suppliers, and ensuring OTIF (On-Time In-Full) project execution. Alongside development, I lead sustainability initiatives, introducing recyclable materials, downgauging strategies, and compliance with PWM rules to reduce environmental impact. A critical part of my role also involves artwork lifecycle management—covering KLD creation, pre-press coordination, vendor proofing, and approvals—to ensure accuracy, compliance, and branding consistency across portfolios. I have successfully led artwork rebranding initiatives across multiple Asian Paints product lines, aligning business needs with timely execution. Previously, I worked at Milan Laboratories (India) Pvt. Ltd. as a Packaging Development Officer in QA, where I handled packaging validations, vendor audits, CAPA implementation, and machine compatibility trials for pharmaceutical formats.
