I am currently working as a Production Quality Engineer at Gotion New Illinois Energy, the first LFP battery producer in the United States. I have been actively involved in supporting the commissioning of battery manufacturing lines for Energy Storage Systems (ESS) and Electric Vehicles (EVs) at the company’s first U.S.-based Gigafactory in Manteno, IllinoisIn this role, I am responsible for conducting incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality inspections of battery packs throughout the manufacturing cycle, ensuring adherence to established quality standards and processes.I am proficient in a wide range of quality tools and methodologies, including 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, Statistical Process Control (SPC), 8D problem solving, Gage R&R, PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 5S, and DMAIC. Additionally, I am skilled in using Microsoft Office and Minitab, with hands-on experience in process optimization, defect reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
