Senior Product Engineer
1. New Product Introduction (NPI) & Transition - Lead the end to end transition of optical components from NPI phase to high volume mass production. - Standardize NPI validation baselines by documenting trial-production scenarios and establishing robust validation schemes. - Oversee pilot manufacturing lines, providing technical oversight during assembly and testing. 2. Technical Documentation & Process Control - Manage the lifecycle of technical documentation, ensuring all engineering changes (ECOs) and Bill of Materials (BOM) revisions are accurate and compliant. - Develop systematic debug guides and troubleshooting protocols to streamline production-line diagnostics. - Audit and validate manufacturing process flows and technical outputs to ensure readiness for full-scale production. 3. Yield Optimization & Data Analytics - Drive product re-engineering initiatives focused on cost reduction (CR), yield enhancement, and long-term reliability. - Utilize statistical data analysis to monitor product performance, identify quality trends, and implement data-driven improvements. - Identify and mitigate risks through Risk-Based Thinking (RBT) in all planning and execution phases to ensure "First Time Right" results.

1. Responsible for Yield improvement, controlling introduction of technology changes, monitoring inline defect performance, finding root cause for inline defect excursion and implementing fixes to address yield issues. 2. Monitoring VF and/or local site yield performance and helping prioritize yield work within the factory. 3. Own yield improvement roadmap and work with relevant stakeholders to develop solutions to yield issues. 4. Supporting in-depth analysis on key processes, excursions, defect failure and interfacing directly with other organizations such as Fab Sort Manufacturing, Assembly & Test Technology Development for process yield health indicator improvements. 5. Identifying and driving design fix, module fixes and Fab issues through commonality analysis. 6. Performing baseline yield prediction. 7. Analyzes and evaluates component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability. 8. Creates and applies concepts for optimizing component production relative to both quality and cost constraints. Autonomously plans and schedules own daily tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment. 9. Partner with test content owners to analyze and resolve parametric limiters like vmin and power 10. Define and establish binning BKMs, systems and tools. 11. Demonstrate ability to apply engineering tools (JMP/JSL, Excel, etc) in solving complex yield issues. 12. Work with diverse stakeholders across product development, process development, design, architecture, sort, fault isolation, failure analysis and manufacturing to deliver a capable technology with demonstrated baseline meeting HVM requirements, drive and track improvement roadmap. 13.
