Sustainability and Environmental Management: - Implementing sustainable practices and energy management programs. - Reducing the facility’s carbon footprint and managing waste. - Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards. 7. Technology and Systems Management: - Overseeing the integration of new technologies to improve efficiency and performance. 8. Project Management: - Planning and overseeing facility-related projects such as renovations, expansions, and relocations. - Coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors. - Ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.

Project - project manager for Batu Kawan greenfield project of land size 14 acres with total built up area ~1,000,000 sqft + facilitization of 2 storey of cleanroom of class 10k and 100k, each with an area of ~120,000 sqft - manage readiness of plant backbone utilities system (gas, chemical, HVAC, RODI, IETS etc.) - deal with different government authority (IWK, PBA, Bomba, MBSP, TNB etc.) prior to building CCC Operation - manage a group of Facilities team of engineer and techinician to run the plant Facilities operation since building completion in Jun’23

Project - Involved in coordination, supervision and management of building expansion project (L3, L4 and L5 -183,000sqft) to cater for upcoming new production capacity - Ensure project are executed within planned timeline and budget - Executing testing and commissioning for new mechanical and electrical system for new plant and ensuring all system parameters are met - Obtain cleanroom certification report for new setup cleanroom. - Review on P&ID drawing and other required documentation prior to handover of site by contractor to owner. - Review on contractor tender submission and contract pricing to ensure the projects are delivered at appropriate price - Ensure different class of cleanroom meet environment requirement and fit for production to run - Coordinate, supervise and manage utilities hook up (mechanical and electrical) for new machines and equipment installation Other responsibility - Liaise with site safety officer and ensure safety aspects during construction are met at all time - Liaise with production, equipment and operation team on their expectation for plant system and to support their production output especially during end of quarter - Improvement and problem solving project on existing facilities mechanical and electrical system - Develop and maintain a close liaison with Environment Health and Safety department to ensure compliance with local regulations, safety, environment and risk management policies and procedures.

- Executing testing and commissioning for new mechanical system for new plant and ensuring all system parameters are met - Establishing maintenance plan for overall HVAC equipment (Chiller, Cooling Tower, MAH, AHU) - Air balancing for office and water balancing for chilled water system - Work closely with contractor in completion of new system installation for new plant - Obtain cleanroom certification report for new setup cleanroom - Review on P&ID drawing and other required documentation prior to handover of site by contractor to owner - Ensure class 10K and 1K cleanroom meet environment requirement for production to run - Liaise closely with operation on daily operation of plant HVAC system which include troubleshooting and maintenance - Guide and lead operation on tackling system issues and system troubleshooting - Liaise with production and different department on their expectation for plant system - Ensure all equipment are within good performance and no downtime to meet KPI - Work closely with process utilities engineer in supporting their system - Work closely with project team by supporting their needs and requirement based on project - Comply with DOSH and DOE requirement for available system

Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) System - Overlook all the HVAC system in the plant and ensure all the parameters are within specs all the time - Come out with solutions in tackling issues related to HVAC system in shortest time - Ensure there no downtime in production caused by HVAC system - Design ventilation, air conditioning, cooling, and refrigeration systems for industrial building - Work with system designer, engineering colleagues, management, and repair technicians for existing system problem - Optimize existing HVAC system to meet energy saving purposes Clean Dry Air (CDA) System - Overlook CDA system in the plant and ensure all the parameters are within specs all the time - Come out with solutions in tackling issues related to CDA system in shortest time - Optimize existing CDA system to meet energy saving purposes Building Management System (BMS) - Utilize BMS system to control existing CDA and HVAC system in current plant - Work with BMS maintenance team to ensure BMS system runs smoothly and troubleshoot any system problem. - Constantly improving BMS system for better communication with the system - Utilize BMS system to ensure all system parameters are within specification in the plant Clean Room System - Maintaining the clean room system and environment which includes temperature, humidity, pressure and airflow - Extension or upgrading project of cleanroom for different class Other responsibility - Schedule facility and equipment PM - Liaise with legal authorities such as DOE and DOSH - Ensure that all PMT and PMA certificate are renewed from time to time - Maintain and monitor plant LEV system - Ensure plant abide to Clean Air Regulation 2014 and refurbish all existing chimneys to fulfill CAR2014 requirement. - Attend customer audits and inspection - Initiate and execute facility projects which includes energy saving, equipment efficiency and upgrading - Participate in audits such as ISO9001 audit and ISO14001 audit

Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning System - Conceives and develops solutions to facilities systems through the application of professionally accepted engineering techniques, practices and procedures - Ensure all HVAC system operational parameters are within spec at all times - Maintaining HVAC system in the plant which involves taking care of the chiller, AHU and cooling tower system and troubleshoot any issue which is related HVAC - To monitor and chart the performance of all HVAC critical parameters and publish the graphs to all relevant parties who need to review the data on daily basis Clean Room System - Maintaining the clean room system and environment which includes temperature, humidity,pressure, and airflow - Collaborate with Contamination Department in tackling issue which is related to Cleanroom Air Particle Counts (APC) issue - Upgrading of clean room system - Subject Matter Expert for QSR Audit (Subsystem 6 - Cleanroom Certification) - In charge of technical wipe down for clean room Energy Saving - developing, coordinating, and implementing strategies and policies to reduce energy consumption - creating policies and systems for buying energy and helping with contract negotiations - providing technical and practical advice and offering training on energy efficiency - liaising and negotiating with contractors, the building supplies industry, council services and other relevant organisations - keeping accurate records and regularly collecting energy monitoring data - carrying out site inspections and energy surveys - benchmarking energy consumption against best practice guidelines Other responsibility - To develop preventive maintenance procedures related to Facilities equipment and systems - Interface with contractors and vendors with regards to issues related to Facilities systems - Design energy saving project for the plant and implement it - Maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of facilities systems
