1991 - Started career within Veterinary Industry as a Junior Veterinary Nurse, at Penrith Veterinary Hospital. 1993 - Certified Veterinary Nursing IV by Ultimo TAFE. 2003 - Certified Rehabilitation Therapist by Animal Physiotherapist Dr Helen Nicholson - K9 Physiotherapy Services. I was strongly encouraged by my Veterinary peers to perform Rehabilitation Therapies on the clinic's canine patient's for all; * Post-Operatively - Orthopaedic Surgeries. * Conservative Medical Management plans. * Patient's with chronic and progressive disease processes or acute injuries with Mobility issues. 2016 - Employed by Animal Physiotherapist Dr Helen Nicholson as her Physiotherapist Assistant - K9 Physiotherapy Services. 2017 - Founded - 'Chillax Pet Care Services', offering mobile Canine Myo-Manipulative Functional Therapies within the Pet's own homes servicing locally to the Wollondilly, Camden, Macarthur and Penrith LGA's - Applying clinically proven and safe techniques and modalities whilst encouraging the pet to perform physical conditioning exercises using specialised fitness equipment by FitPaws by using only positive reinforcement techniques at all times. Having the abilities and knowledge to apply a Multi-Modality approach to my sessions including an Initial Assessment of each patient which consists of a thorough Clinical Assessment including a Subjective, Objective, Functional & Gait analysis - These combined assist me in achieving great outcomes for my patients. I liaise with the Pet's Veterinarian or other Alternative Therapists as part of a 'team approach' to enable the best outcome for all my patient's. 2017 - Certified Canine Kinesiology Taping Therapist by RockTape Australia. 2018 - Certified Canine Myo-Manipulative Functional Therapist (CMMFT) by Dr Angelique Barbara - Holistic Animal Studies. 2020 - Certified Walkin' Wheels Wheelchair Fitting Specialist and International Dealer for all Handicapped Pet's products including Mobility Aids/Braces/Splints etc... 2021 - Certified Canine Hydrotherapist by Animal Physiotherapist Michelle Monk from Canine Health & Wellbeing Academy. 2021 - Currently completing Laser Therapy Certification by Dr Angelique Barbara - Holistic Animal Studies.
