Studied Applied Psychology with focus on how childhood trauma affect adult emotional functioning

I researched the interplay between Psychology and education. My research focused on executive function development of children.

I developed an observational measure to assess children executive function in their everyday classroom routine behaviours. I found that executive function in low-income context is used as an adaptive skill for everyday activities rather than for only academic activities. I proposed a shift from focus on structure to functionalities of cognitive skills.
