12/2012-11/2013 Associate Manager, Quanta SoC Design Center 07/2011-11/2012 Specialist 1, Quanta SoC Design Center (as a part of military service) 01/2011-06/2011 Specialist 2, Quanta SoC Design Center (as a part of military service) - Algorithm/IQ team manager of Quanta’s ISP: led an algorithm/IQ team of ~10 members to develop our new ISP that supports interlaced HDR and comes with LTM and an improved NR/DM. We also designed an image quality assessment flow on tone-mapped HDR images (with some custom-made chart/light box). - Engineering for QIC1822 encoding camera SoC: I did whichever part that's behind the schedule: SoC architecture planning, SoC integration, video codec modification, performance debugging, whole chip verification platform, power plan, timing closure, package and thermal. Now in mass-production with 10M+ units shipped (most notably in Microsoft Surface Pro 3). - Algorithm and front-end lead for QIC1602 smart camera SoC: remote gesture control algorithm development, system/chip-level architecture design, module architecture design with designers, top-level integration - Lots of killed exploratory computer vision projects
