I have served as a group fitness instructor on campus since August 2018, teaching 3 classes per week. I also work as a personal trainer on campus, as well as at Granite Falls Swim and Athletic Club. I'm certified in CPR/First Aid, personal training, and group exercise instruction. Lastly, in January of 2019 I started my own online coaching LLC, Moxley Fitness NC. Fitness instruction and exercise prescription is my passion and I aspire to become better every day.

During my internship I was able to practice clinical fitness assessment skills such as blood pressure, skinfolds, and exercise tests. I performed equipment orientations for new members and I developed a health education course for my practicum project. This internship experience gave me experience in a clinical fitness facility and I was exposed to personal training, group training, fitness assessments, and exercise prescription for high-risk populations such as diabetes or musculoskeletal injury.

Sun Tan City is a heavily commission-based environment that is very competitive. As a manager, I was responsible for the other employees working the same shift as I was. I was also responsible for making sales, cleaning the salon, keeping track of money and productivity, and loss prevention. I also had to serve as a resource for the other employees on the clock and had to help ensure they were successful as well.
