• Responsible for Server administration in various environments - Window 2003 & 2008. • Installation of software as per the user’s requirement. • Installation of critical patches on user computers through a LANDesk tool. • 2nd Level support for all server related issues • Managing and implementing Active directory, DNS and DHCP. • Windows Server 2003/2008 support: Access to N/W Share folder, Contractor User Account creation, Distribution list creation, Metaframe Access, Clearing network printer queues, Contact creation, FTP account creation, Create exchange mailbox and mailbox settings, distribution group, contact and Public folders. IIS, terminal services. • Identify and fix issues related in house application. • Experienced in Virtualization tools. Like Hyper-V, VMware. • Good knowledge about the total process of ITIL • Ticket escalation to respective support group. • Ensure ownership on the issues handled. • Report any specific issues/pattern being observed to the lead. • Prepared knowledge base articles for new hires as per the process requirements.
